Time to Declutter!

If you live in the Houston area, selling or donating your furniture, home goods, clothing, and jewelry is easy. Follow these steps to consign your items and get paid!

Schedule Appointment
Call our receptionist at 713-528-0470 from 10am-2:30pm M-F to set up a time to bring your items in. Appointments are required to consign. Make sure to review our guidelines to maximize what you can consign with us.

We Sell Your Items
Once you drop your items off during your appointment at your appointed time, we’ll price them to sell. We have a high level of turnover of items and we are eager & excited to merchandise your items.

You Get Paid
When one of your consigned items sells, you get 60% of the sale price. The remaining 40% goes to support pediatric neurology research and treatment! When you consign with us, you are also making a difference.

Drop-off times and locations

Here are the times and locations to drop off your items for consignment or donation. Appointments are required for consignments. Please call our receptionist to make an appointment Monday-Friday from 10:00am-2:30pm at 713.528.0470
Furniture and Home Goods (Household)
Appointments: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:30pm; Saturday, 10:00am-1:30pm.

Drop-off location: Double loading dock area located on 3899 Greeley Street., near the intersection of Greeley and Sul Ross.

Donations are accepted Tuesdays-Saturdays during shop hours. Consignment guidelines still apply for what is accepted.
Clothing
Appointments: Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am-2:30pm.

Drop-off location: Side door located on 3856 Jack Street, near the intersection of Jack and Sul Ross.

Donations are accepted Tuesdays-Saturdays during shop hours. Consignment guidelines still apply for what is accepted. Donations can be placed in receptacle located by intake doors on Jack Street. If they are on hangers, please ring buzzer.
Jewelry
Appointments: Tuesday-Friday from 10:00am-3:00pm.

Donations are accepted Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00am-3:00pm. Consignment guidelines still apply for what is accepted.

Consignment Guidelines & Contracts

ALL CONSIGNMENT
  • Consignments are accepted once every thirty (30) days with all items in one trip only. Only one account can be opened per individual with a maximum of two accounts per household.
  • A signed contract and a detailed list of items must accompany each consignment.
  • Consignor agrees to the Shop’s current markdown policy.
  • Checks are cut the second week of each month and mailed the third week of each month.
  • Consignors will be paid by mailed check only.
  • No check will be reissued until ninety (90) days after the original date of issue.
  • Consignors will be paid 60% of the selling price of all items sold during the contract period.
  • Consignors are welcome to suggest a price but final determination of price is made by The Blue Bird Circle Shop volunteers.

CLOTHING
  • Clothing contracts expire sixty (60) days from the date the consignment is priced. If not sold in 30 days, item receives a 25% markdown, after 45 days a 50% markdown, after 60 days clothing item becomes a donation.
  • Clothing must be clean, pressed, in-season and in-style.
  • Clothing must be placed on clear, plastic hangers (available at Shop)
  • A minimum of six (6) and a maximum of fifteen (15) hanging clothes, only three (3) pair of pants per consignment, three (3) purses and three (3) pairs of shoes.
  • Only smocked, holiday and special occasion children's clothing will be accepted as consignments.
  • The Blue Bird Circle Shop reserves the right to reject clothing items after intake if it does not meet the above requirements

FURNITURE/HOUSEHOLD
  • Furniture contracts expire 90 (ninety) days from the date the consignment is priced. If not sold in 30 days, item receives a 25% markdown, after 60 days a 50%, after 90 days item becomes a donation.
  • All items must be in good condition, clean, no stains or broken parts and free of animal hair and tobacco odors.
  • The Blue Bird Circle Shop reserves the right to reject furniture items after intake if it does not meet the above requirements.

JEWELRY
  • A minimum of six (6) and a maximum of twenty (20) jewelry items grouped by type.
  • Items in good condition with no peeling, no loss of finish, broken or missing parts.
  • Earrings must have backs.
  • No necklaces on monofilament line/fishing line
  • Jewelry consignments expire sixty (60) days from the date the consignment was priced
  • Jewelry items must be placed in a strong, sturdy bag or box
  • The Blue Bird Circle Shop reserves the right to reject jewelry items after intake if it does not meet the above requirements

Seasonal Items

ALL SEASONAL ITEMS MUST BE CONTRACTED, PACKAGED AND LABELED SEPARATELY
Furniture Seasonal Guidelines 2024-2025
  • Items will be accepted year-round. (Halloween/Fall Items  and Christmas items consigned after October 6th will be stored until next year).
  • Quality toys and dolls accepted for Christmas Consignment/Donation.
  • Seasonal items must be on a separate Consignment Contract.
  • If items are not packaged separately they will become a donation.
  • Minimum total consignment value must be $25.

Clothing Seasonal Guidelines 2024-2025

Below is the receiving schedule for 2024-2025:

  • Spring & Rodeo: January 17 – March 31
  • Summer: April 15 – July 15
  • Fall: August 15 – October 31
  • Winter/Holiday/Fur: November 1 – December 1
