President's Letter

Founded in 1923, The Blue Bird Circle is the oldest women’s charitable organization in the City of Houston. From its beginnings, the Circle has sought to give back to the Houston community by supporting services and research that benefit children, and that mission continues today.

To continue our mission and to make a difference in the lives of children affected by neurological disorders, the Circle relies on the charitable contributions of individuals and corporations and funds received from our Shop, projects, and other fundraising activities.

The Circle is pledged to support The Blue Bird Circle Clinic for Pediatric Neurology, The Blue Bird Circle Clinical Research Center, The Blue Bird Circle Developmental Neurogenetics Laboratory, The Blue Bird Rett Center and The Blue Bird Circle Center for Advancing Treatments Fund.

Advances in neurological medical research and treatment will give hope and healing to the children who suffer from these devastating disorders, thus expanding our vision and making a difference.

With heartfelt gratitude and appreciation,

Annette Griffith
President, 2024-2025
Children with neurological disorders run into constant struggles to live a normal life. At The Blue Bird Circle, we fund research in pediatric neurology so children can have a brighter future.
